Overview

Sjevàsidlàr Se was founded durring the late 12th century in winter of the year 1078, by Fyesh Carew. The establishment of Sjevàsidlàr Se was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Sjevàsidlàr Se's construction back out of the project. Fyesh Carew pushed on reguardles, and Sjevàsidlàr Se was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Sjevàsidlàr Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Sjevàsidlàr Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Sjevàsidlàr Se is is constructed arround a series of crampt baked earthen mainstreets which form concentric circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to each other at varrious points. The town is protected by a humble stone fence which is tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. The town's peasent-grade are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.

Sjevàsidlàr Se has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Sjevàsidlàr Se ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up.

Cultural Notes

Religious leaders are influential in almost any community, but in Sjevàsidlàr Se they make up the final authorities. It may be an explicit theocracy, with rule by the clerics of a particular faith, or a temple might be so important and powerful that the official leaders are helpless to resist its will. The locals can be expected to be loyal adherents to the faith, or else the less pious majority is deeply intimidated by the religion’s believers.

Sjevàsidlàr Se's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used embraces individualism and experimentation. It emerged as a movement against traditional, classical styles and sought to make buildings dynamic and fun while breaking the rules. The style incorporated elements of previous architectural styles in exaggerated and whimsical ways. Traditional, conservative leanings were void in this era, with most scholars of architecture agreeing it was a time of “anything goes.”.

In Sjevàsidlàr Se vermin leave small tokens in payment for food taken.

The Vukodlak near Sjevàsidlàr Se are known to be quite timid.

Sjevàsidlàr Se's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves line dance to channel Illusion energies of tier 1 via recitation of poetic epics.
